[fanart] Naruto, believe it or not.
AH. It's been a while since I've posted anything--been busy doing various other things, recently also bicycling and gardening a lot. We have more hummingbirds in this part of Texas than I was aware of before...also, they're a lot crankier than I'd have thought such little things would be. And there's a quite nice comic book store about 30 miles out from my house, so when I have a day to spare to get there it makes a nice destination for a bicycle trip.

I almost swore I would never read Naruto, but I did finally try it (the manga, that is) and...it's really very good! Even to the point of having a recognizable theme for the whole story, decent pacing, kind of an overall ~*~shape~*~ to the way it goes--I really never expected to like it. So anyhow, for starters: I love little Gaara a lot and I love his poor put upon brother and sister...and I'm a great fan of all therapeutic ass-kickings followed by epic life-changing moments of clarity in shonen manga; the Naruto/Gaara fight was great like that. So I wanted to draw a nice post-Naruto-Gaara-fight group hug for the sandsibs. With Temari and Kankurou looking appropriately uncertain about all this. BUT HE JUST WANTS TO HUG YOU WITH SAND, YOU GUYS.
